IXS has introduced an automated dividend distribution and payout function, enabling issuers and token managers to seamlessly allocate and distribute returns to real-world asset (RWA) token holders within the IXS ecosystem.

How to Distribute Dividends & Payouts on IXS

1️⃣ Complete KYC Verification

2️⃣ Request Token Manager Role

  • Contact us at c@ixswap.io to request the "Token Manager" role.

  • The IXS team will review and approve the request upon completing necessary compliance checks and obtaining issuer authorization.

3️⃣ Manage Approved Tokens

  • Once approved, access your Token Management Dashboard by clicking on "Manage" to oversee your listed tokens.

4️⃣ Create a Payout Event

  • Navigate to "Create Payout Event" and input the required distribution details for dividend allocation.

  • Once the event is published, investors can view it under the "Payout Events" tab.

Once the payout is funded, investors can claim their dividends from the Token Claim Page after the payment start date.

5️⃣ Execute Token Distribution

  • After the record date has passed, the Token Manager must transfer distribution tokens to the designated smart contract via the Token Management Page.

  1. Once the event has been published, users will be able to view the event under the "Payout Events" tab

  1. After the record date has passed, the token manager will now have to send the distribution tokens to the distribution smart contract. This can be completed via the token management page.

  1. Upon completion of making payment, users will now be able to claim their dividends / payouts from the token claim page after the payment start date
